The Labor Day scramble saw good weather, good fun and even better competition as the day winded down. At the end of play the competition saw six of the ten teams finish within two shots of each other and three of the teams went out to hole #12 for a playoff.
The added nerves proved to show, as none of the teams were able to find the green with their first shots and took a great 12 footer made by Adam Birkenheuer to solidify their teams victory.
Keep your eye out for more one day two man scrambles in the future. Don’t forget to sign up for the Hedingham Club Championship at the Hedingham pro shop or by calling 919-250-3030.
