Sign-up for Swim Lessons!

iStock_000001791214MediumGive your child a head start on summer and sign them up for swimming lessons at Riverwood Athletic Club in Clayton!  To sign-up simply send an email to RACswimlessons@gmail.com with your child’s name, age, lesson level, phone number and what session you are interested in. Confirmation of the class registration will be sent within 2-3 business days. All payments must be submitted on the first day of your session to participate.

Swim Lesson Levels

Minnows – Beginner
Main objective of this class is to get the swimmers comfortable with the water and teach them the basics of swimming.

Session I    Jan 26 – Feb 18         Tue/Thur        5:15-5:45
Session II    Jan 30 – Feb 27        Saturday        9:15-10:00
Session III    Feb 23 – Mar 17       Tue/Thur        5:15-5:45
Session IV    Mar 5 – April 2         Saturday        9:15-10:00
Session V    Mar 22 – April 14      Tue/Thur        5:15-5:45

Turtles – Must be able to swim 10 meters unsupported
Main objective is to teach the swimmers how to swim unsupported in both the shallow and deep end.

Session I    Jan 26 – Feb 18         Tue/Thur        5:45-6:15
Session II    Jan 30 – Feb 27        Saturday        10:00-10:45
Session III    Feb 23 – Mar 17       Tue/Thur        5:45-6:15
Session IV    Mar 5 – April 2          Saturday        10:00-10:45
Session V    Mar 22 – April 14       Tue/Thur        5:45-6:15

Eels – Must be able to swim 1 length unsupported
Main objective is to introduce new strokes, such as back stroke and breast stroke.
Session I    Jan 26 – Feb 18         Tue/Thur         6:15-6:45
Session II    Jan 30 – Feb 27        Saturday        10:45-11:30
Session III    Feb 23 – Mar 17       Tue/Thur         6:15-6:45
Session IV    Mar 5 – April 2          Saturday        10:45-11:30
Session V    Mar 22 – April 14       Tue/Thur         6:15-6:45

Dophins – Must be able to swim 1 length of freestyle, breast stroke, and back stroke
Main objective is to build up the swimmers endurance and help them master all three basic strokes.
