Tim Gupton, PGA – New Director of Instruction at Olde Liberty Golf Club

We are excited to welcome Tim Gupton as our new Director of Instruction at Olde Liberty Golf Club! Tim has been a PGA professional for over 20 years and is passionate about teaching the game of golf. His teaching career began at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club where he was a teaching professional for 5 years. After that he moved to MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary where he continued his career as a golf professional and teaching pro. Later he moved to Kerr Lake Country Club where he served as Head Golf Professional for 8 years. After Kerr Lake he started his own teaching business where he taught track-out and summer camps for the YMCA and Town of Wake Forest. He also performed club repair and taught adult clinics and individual and group lessons for adults and children.

Tim and his family have loved living in the Youngsville area for over 20 years. He and his wife Kristi have 3 sons. The oldest, Cole, attends UNC Wilmington and is a business major and enjoys playing on the club golf team. Smith is a student at William Peace University where he is majoring in Business and Exercise Science and plays on their basketball team. The youngest, Sam, is a high school student who loves playing golf, soccer and basketball.

We are very excited to welcome Tim to the FSC Sports Club family and are very excited about the teaching program he will develop at Olde Liberty.
